We have learned with certainty, via a telegram from the enemy on 1/20, that both Major Salman Aboud al-Abbas, from the residents of Baghdad, Karrada al-Sharqiya, and Captain Pilot Jaafar Gumur, assigned to Squadron 8, were inside the Ilyushin aircraft numbered 423 which was shot down over Balak.
