The September Revolution - Part Three
In this part of the Barzan Revolutions documentary series, the rise of the Ba'ath Party to power, peace negotiations with the revolution's leadership, the renewed deterioration of the relationship between the revolution and the government, the resumption of war, and the victories of the revolution's Peshmerga forces in 1963 are briefly discussed. Among the most important topics of this part: the Koya National Congress in 1963, the creation of the National Guard by the Ba'athists, and the battles and epics of Sari Akre, Pers, Barzan, and Matin.
Xwakurk Epic (1988)On September 5, 1988, heroic Peshmerga recorded a historical epic in Xwakurk. In this epic, the enemy used many heavy and prohibited weapons The forces that participated in this epic were: Forces of Branch 2, Branch 3, Branch 4, the Barzan Force, the Refugee Force, the Hemrîn Force, the National Defense Force, and the Communist Party forces In this battle, the enemy forces suffered heavy blows, and 63 Peshmerga were wounded and 28 Peshmerga were martyred.

Achievements of the Peshmerga Forces: Capture of 43 soldiers and Jash, ammunition, a number of various weapons, a vehicle, an armored vehicle and a military IFA.
