Rebar Ahmed Khalid was born on July 1, 1968, in the village of Barzan, affiliated with Erbil Governorate. In Year 1997, he completed the Civil Engineering Department at Salahaddin University. In Year 2007, he completed the National Security Department at the National University of Iraq.
On July 10, Year 2019, he became the Minister of Interior in the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government. On November 6, Year 2022, in the Fourteenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Duhok, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee by the members of the Congress.
