The political figure Salahaddin Ibrahim Qadir, known as (Selah Delo), has been recognized. In the year 1964 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and in the year 1965 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. At the eleventh 1993 and twelfth 1993 congresses, he was elected as a member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the year 2010 at the thirteenth congress, he was elected as a member of the leadership council, and at the first meeting of the leadership council, he was elected as a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 1992 in the first term, he was elected as a member of the Kurdistan National Assembly on the list of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 1992 in the first cabinet, he became the Deputy Minister of Finance, and in the year 1994 in the second cabinet, he became the Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government and is a recipient of the Barzani Medal.

 

Biography

Selah Delo was born in the city of Kirkuk in the year 1949 and is a high school graduate. In the year 1992 in the first term, he was elected as a member of the Kurdistan National Assembly on the list of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 1992 in the first cabinet, he became the Deputy Minister of Finance, and in the year 1994 in the second cabinet, he became the Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government. He is proficient in the Kurdish, Arabic, and Persian languages.

Work History

Selah Delo joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the year 1964 and joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces in the year 1965. During his time working within the ranks of the Peshmerga, he held several duties and responsibilities. In the year 1975 after the defeat of the September Revolution, he migrated to the country of Iran.

 

In the year 1991 he participated in the uprising of South Kurdistan, and after the uprising, he held several party responsibilities. Such as administrator of branch three 1991, responsible for the branch three committee of Kirkuk 1996, responsible for the branch fifteen committee of Garmian 2003, responsible for the central bureau of national relations 2006, responsible for the leadership council of the Kirkuk-Garmian province 2010 and so on....

 

In the year 1992 in the first term, he was elected as a member of the Kurdistan National Assembly on the list of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 1992 in the first cabinet, he became the Deputy Minister of Finance, and in the year 1994 in the second cabinet, he became the Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

 

At the eleventh 1993 and twelfth 1999 congresses, he was elected as a member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the year 2010 at the thirteenth congress, he was elected as a member of the leadership council, and at the first meeting of the leadership council, he was elected as a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

 

In the year 2010 due to his work and resistance in the September Revolution, the May Revolution, the phase of the South Kurdistan uprising, and the phase of sovereignty, by President Masoud Barzani he received the Immortal Barzani medal.
