Wasu Hemed Law, known as Wasu Hemed Law, was born in 1952 in the village of Guwan in the Diana district, which is part of Erbil province. He was married and had two daughters and a son.

In 1968, along with his brother Abdulwahid, he joined the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces. He was a Peshmerga in the Seyid Asi Battalion of the Balek Force and participated in the battles of Mount Zozik, Sartiz, and Omer Agha Valley.

In 1974, after the start of the wars and clashes between the Peshmerga Forces and the Ba'ath Party, Wasu Hemed Law once again took up the Peshmerga weapon and defended Kurdistan. On April 17, 1974, with his older brother Abdulwahid Hemed Law, his cousin, and several of his relatives, he was martyred in the battle of Mount Gorez near the village of Balekiyan in the Diana district.

Due to the war situation and the bombardment by the enemy's tanks and artillery, they could not bury the bodies of the martyrs in the village of Guwan, so they were buried in the village of Sitkan.
