Martyr Abdulrahman Mohammed Rasul was born in 1970 in Pirsuwan village, belonging to Rawanduz district in Erbil Governorate. He studied through the sixth grade of primary school and was married. In 1991 he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in 1995 became a Peshmerga in Army 6 in Soran. He took part in most battles defending the rule of law in Soran. On September 2, 1997, he was martyred on Mount Drabi by PKK militants.
