Martyr Jibrail Faqo Mikail was born in 1912 in the village of Tawkê, in the town of Sidekan in Erbil Governorate. He was a villager who worked in farming, was illiterate, and had married.

In 1961, he joined the Aylul Revolution and became a Peshmerga. He took part in the early battles of the Aylul Revolution. In 1963, he was martyred in the town of Diana by mercenaries of the Iraqi regime.
