Martyr Nabi Ahmed Sufi was born in 1938 in Warte village, belonging to Rawanduz District, Erbil Governorate. He was illiterate and married.
In 1985, he joined the clandestine organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1995, he became a Peshmerga in Mustafa Warti Brigade of Soran's 6th Army. He took part in battles in the Balakayati area and on September 3, 1997, he was martyred by PKK militants in Warte village during the battle defending the rule of law.
