Politician Kristof Yalda Tarkhan, known as Rebwar, Rebwar Yalda, Korak, joined the ranks of the Party in the year 1969, and in the year 1974, with the start of the war between the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution and the Iraqi army, joined the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan, in the Tenth Congress in 1989, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Party, and in the year 2010 in the Thirteenth Congress he was elected as a member of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the first meeting of the Leadership Council, he became a member of the Political Bureau.

Biography

Rebwar Yalda was born in the city of Erbil in the year 1952, of Assyrian ethnicity and Christian religion, belonging to the Eastern Orthodox sect, and is a graduate of the Erbil Teacher Training Institute. He is proficient in Kurdish, Syriac, Arabic, and Persian languages. In the year 1975, after the collapse of the Aylul Revolution, he went to the country of Iran as a refugee.

Struggle Record

Rebwar Yalda joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the year 1969, and in the year 1974, with the start of the war between the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution and the Iraqi army, he joined the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan. In the year 1975, after the collapse of the Aylul Revolution he went to the country of Iran as a refugee. In the year 1980, in the Gulan Revolution he joined the Peshmerga forces for the second time, and in the year 1981, he was a writer for the press and later the head of the Kurdish section of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's publications. In the year 1986, he was appointed as the Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union.

In the Tenth Congress in 1989, he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Party, and in the year 2010 in the Thirteenth Congress he was elected as a member of the Leadership Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and in the first meeting of the Leadership Council, he became a member of the Political Bureau,

In the year 2022, in the Fourteenth Congress, he was re-elected as a member of the Central Committee, and in the first meeting of the Leadership Committee, he was elected as a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and became the head of the Election Agency.

In the year 1991, in the Erbil axis, accompanied by some members of the secretariat of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union, he participated in the uprising of Southern Kurdistan. During the years (1992-1999), he was the founder and director of Kurdistan TV Ktv station.

In the year 2004, he was made the head of the Central Office of Professional Organizations, and in the year 2017, he was appointed by the Political Bureau of the Party as the head of the Organization Office.
