Abdulwahid Hamad Law, known as Abdulwahid Hamad Law, was born in 1946 in the village of Gwani, affiliated with the Diana sub-district of Erbil Governorate. He was married and had two sons and four daughters.

In 1964, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and rose through the party ranks, eventually becoming a member of the Rawanduz district committee. In the same year, he joined the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. He became a Peshmerga in the Sayid Asi battalion affiliated with the Balak force. He soon became a squad leader in the same battalion. After the March 11, 1970 agreement signed between the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Mullah Mustafa Barzani and the Ba'ath Party, Abdulwahid Hamad Law continued his organizational work within the Rawanduz district committee.

In 1974, after the resumption of fighting between the Peshmerga forces and the Ba'ath Party, Abdulwahid Hamad Law again took up the arms of the Peshmerga and defended the land of Kurdistan. On April 17, 1974, in the battle of Mount Gorez near the village of Balakian in the Diana sub-district, he, his brother, his cousin, and several of his relatives were martyred.

Due to the situation of the war and the enemy's tank and artillery bombardment, it was not possible to bury the remains of the martyrs in the village of Gwani, so they were buried in the village of Sitkan.
